St. Mary’s University

St. Mary's University is a Catholic Marianist University located at San Antonio. Founded in 1852, it is the first institution of higher education in San Antonio and the oldest Catholic university in Texas and the Southwestern area. With 3,800 students of a diversity of backgrounds and faiths, St. Mary's University has a student/faculty ratio of 12-to-1. St. Mary’s offers over 75 academic programs, along with pre-professional programs in nursing, dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, allied health, and law. Moreover, St. Mary's University offers 19 master's programs and 2 Ph.D. programs.
